All jewellery sold by 4S Jewellers Private Limited is 1 gram gold jewellery — premium imitation (fashion) jewellery. Each piece is a quality metal alloy base finished with a layer of gold plating.

Our products are NOT solid gold and NOT original gold. The term “1 gram gold” describes a style and finish of imitation jewellery commonly sold in India. It does not mean the item contains one gram of gold, and it should not be understood as a statement of gold content or purity.

Because these are plated imitation pieces and not solid gold, they are not BIS hallmarked. Hallmarking certifies the purity of real gold and does not apply to gold-plated fashion jewellery.

Our jewellery has no bullion or resale value as gold. It should not be purchased as an investment, and it cannot be exchanged, valued or sold against gold rates by us or by any jeweller.

Gold plating is a surface finish. With regular wear it can gradually dull or fade — how quickly depends on how often the piece is worn, your skin chemistry, humidity, perfumes and cosmetics, and how the piece is stored.

We provide a guarantee of up to 6 months on the plating against normal wear, as set out in our Guarantee Policy. Fading that results from misuse, exposure to chemicals, water or perfume, or from not following our care instructions is not covered.

Product photographs are taken under studio lighting and are intended to show the design as accurately as possible. The actual shade, tone and finish may appear slightly different in person, and colours can vary between screens and devices.

Our pieces are finished largely by hand, so minor variation in finish, stone placement and polish between individual items is normal and is not a defect.

Any stones used are imitation or synthetic stones (such as cubic zirconia, kundan, glass or resin stones). They are not natural diamonds, precious or semi-precious gemstones, unless expressly stated otherwise on the product page.

Weights, dimensions and measurements shown on product pages are approximate and provided as a guide. Small variations may occur between pieces of the same design.

We make every effort to describe our products accurately. However, product descriptions, images, pricing, offers and availability may change at any time without prior notice.

If an error in price or description is discovered after you place an order, we will contact you and give you the choice to confirm the corrected order or cancel it for a full refund.

This jewellery is intended for personal fashion use only. Please keep it away from water, perfume, sanitiser, cosmetics and harsh chemicals, and remove it before bathing, swimming, sleeping or exercising.

If you have sensitive skin or known metal allergies, please test the piece briefly before extended wear and discontinue use if any irritation occurs.

To the extent permitted by law, 4S Jewellers Private Limited is not liable for damage to the item or any skin reaction arising from misuse, failure to follow our care instructions, or wear beyond ordinary use.
